We were trialling cakes this week, for upcoming birthdays. This cow milk free chocolate number was excellent, the best “normal cake” without cow milk I’ve tried. The butter icing with Maqui Berry Powder was also scrumptious. For a refined palette it even had some citrus notes 👌🏽
A added bonus is the Maqui might assist with the balancing of blood sugar levels after all the cake we’ve consumed 😊
The Maqui is also a great way to naturally colour the icing for the cake. I put more in to make it a darker purple for the border of a flower themed cake. Sadly I didn't get an evidence of this cake as it was very quickly consumed.
